Measurement Principle |
The intelligent industrial vortex flowmeter works based on the principle of the Karman vortex street. When the fluid flows through the vortex-generating body with a triangular pillar in the pipeline, a regular vortex row (i.e., the Karman vortex street) is alternately generated on both sides downstream. The frequency of vortex separation is directly proportional to the flow rate of the fluid. The sensor detects this frequency signal through built-in piezoelectric elements, and after processing by the internal microprocessor and intelligent converter, it can accurately calculate the instantaneous and cumulative flow rate of the fluid, and output a standard signal. |
